Entries may be submitted by post, online or taken to a Specsavers store. Specsavers does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. Entries must be received by Specsavers in Guernsey between Monday 2 April and midnight Saturday 30 June 2012. Only one entry per person. Winners will be contacted personally. No purchase required. You must be aged 16 or over (and accompanied by an adult if you are a winner under 18), resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man and a current specs wearer or wear glasses for fashion purposes. Entrants will be judged on their appearance in glasses and on their overall personality. Entrants who cannot attend their regional final or the Grand Final will be replaced and their prize reallocated. All entrants confirm that they are not associated with any other model agencies or modelling competitions at any stage of this competition and agree to be represented by MOT Models if chosen.

The first prize includes a two-week, premier, all-inclusive holiday for two adults to Barbados, courtesy of Almond Resorts and Virgin Holidays. The holiday consists of two economy return flights from London Gatwick and all-inclusive accommodation in a superior deluxe room for two adults for 14 nights at one of the Almond Resorts hotels in Barbados. Valid 01 May – 30 October 2013. Reservations are subject to availability at time of booking. The prize is non- transferrable and cannot be exchanged and no cash alternative will be offered. Almond Resorts and Virgin Holidays reserve the right to move the competition prize booking to an alternative Almond Resort hotel up until the arrival date. The winner will be contacted by a travel representative of Almond Resorts and Virgin Holidays who will book the holiday on their behalf. The winner and the winner's guest must hold a valid passport on the date of travel. If an EU passport is not held, then a visa may be required. Specsavers will pay for reasonable transfers and travel insurance.

Second prize: a weekend break for two in Paris, including return rail travel and four-star accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, plus £200 spending money, plus hair and beauty products from Andrew Barton Hair Salons and Simple and other goodies. Third prize: a weekend break for two in London, including return rail travel and four star accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, plus £150 spending money, plus hair and beauty products from Andrew Barton Hair Salons and Simple and other goodies. All holidays subject to availability.

Runners-up at the grand final prizes: Hair and beauty products from Andrew Barton Hair Salons and Simple and other goodies. All regional finalists will receive a Specsavers eyecare voucher worth £150 (cannot be used with other Specsavers offers) and a goody bag including items from Specsavers, Andrew Barton Hair Salons and Simple.

No cash alternative for any prize. The competition is not open to employees of Specsavers, Kidscape, MOT Models, Almond Resorts, Virgin Holidays, Andrew Barton Hair Salons and Simple, their families or anyone professionally associated with the promotion. Ten finalists in each region will be contacted by letter in July and invited to attend the semi-finals (see website for dates and venues), where the regional winners will be selected. Regional winners must be available to attend the grand final judging, which will take place in London on 30 October 2012 at The Boiler House, Battersea Power Station, where the grand final winners will be announced. Specsavers will pay reasonable travelling expenses to the regional finals for each entrant. Specsavers will pay reasonable travelling expenses and accommodation for all finalists plus one guest only for the grand final. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Photos are not returnable. Winners will be required to participate in all post-event publicity as required by Specsavers, including any Specsavers advertising/PR campaigns in the 12 months after the grand final. Specsavers reserves the right to reallocate prizes if entrants are unable to attend a regional final, or the grand final or if they breach these rules. Specsavers reserves the right to alter or substitute any of the prizes with a prize of a similar value. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to abide by them when entering this competition. The overall winner may be required to sign a contract with MOT Models and may be subject to its terms and conditions.
